My Principles
Benji
benji.soBenji is the staple of my productivity. Literally my life was transformed, and it handles everything for me: to-dos, habits, routines, planner, food, hydration, fasting, exercises, logging, sauna, cold plunges, etc.
Phone
No Email Notifications
Always manually check email. No push notifications.
No Social Media Apps
Zero social media apps installed on phone. Ever.
App Installation Blocked
Cannot install new apps. Prevents impulsive downloads.
Content Restrictions
No NSFW content. All news and distracting websites blocked. Incognito windows cannot be opened.
Downtime: 8PM - 8AM
Only essential apps unlocked: Phone, Messages (wife only), FaceTime, Maps. Pin held by my wife so I cannot override.
Notification Summary
Using iOS notification summary feature. Push notifications only for: messages from my wife, bank apps, home automation, urgent matters. Everyone else batched at 9AM, 11AM, 2PM, 5PM, 8PM.
Black and White Mode
Phone is always in black and white mode. Automations turn off grayscale when opening Photos app, Camera app, and Google Maps.
No Devices in Bed
No devices in bed ever. This includes phones, tablets, laptops, or any electronic device.
Raise to Wake & Tap to Wake Disabled
Removed raise to wake and tap to wake to reduce impulsive checking on the phone for no reason.
Desktop
Network-Level Blocking
YouTube, Reddit, and all distracting websites blocked via network settings on Mac Studio.
Downtime: 9PM - 9AM
Computer locked during these hours. Wife has the password.
Internet Kill Switch
Internet completely turns off from 9PM - 9AM as double protection.
Twitter Usage
No Twitter password access - cannot log in impulsively into any browser. Only logged in to Comeback Later app which is always logged in but allows 5 minute browsing every 1 hour.

I'm still not perfect at this, but I'm trying my best to enforce no device usage on Sundays. That means any electronic device.
Rituals
Morning
Wake Up: 6AM - 7AM
Wake up time is between 6AM and 7AM.
Brush Teeth + Splash Water on Face
Brush teeth and splash water on face to wake up.
Walk Dog
Start the day by walking my dog.
Infrared Sauna
- 5 min reading
- Gratitude journal
- Affirmations out loud
- 5 min voice down/brain dump
- 5 min breathing with Apple Watch
Hang on Bar
Hang on bar trying to beat my record by one second every day.
Hang Upside Down
Hang upside down on a machine for decompressing the back for 5 minutes.
One Hour Workout
- Option 1: 1hr walk on treadmill
- Option 2: 40 min walk + 20 min strength training
Cold Shower
Cold shower while cleaning my face.
Moisturize Face
Moisturize face to complete the morning routine.
Evening
Computers Lock: 9PM
Computers lock at 9PM. While on computer: chamomile tea and blue light blocking glasses.
Magnesium Glycinate
Take 300mg magnesium glycinate before sleep.
Clean Face
Clean my face as part of the evening routine.
Floss
Floss teeth.
Brush Teeth
Brush teeth.
Moisturize Face
Moisturize face.
Evening Gratitude Journal
Write evening gratitude journal.
Brain Dump
Brain dump using voice notes for 5 minutes.
Wind Down: 10:15 PM
White noise machine β U-plugs β Breathing sticker on nose β Read 5-15 minutes on e-reader.
Sleep Time
Sleep usually by 10:30-10:45 PM.
